Working with film and digital photography practices, I employ varied lighting situations, styles, and angles to evoke emotions and document living experiences. Each practice is different but shares a common, intentional purpose. My sports photography focuses on crafting imagery that reflects a team’s identity, effort and growth. Revealing the unseen labor behind competition and connecting audiences to sports beyond spectacle. In contrast, my film work functions as a slower, more introspective practice using abandoned, empty, quiet spaces to examine memory, nostalgia, personal growth to ultimately invite both reflection and connection for myself and others.
